When you fill in a form on the Site, such as to contact us, request a consultation, download a case study, subscribe to updates or apply for a job, we collect the details you enter. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, company, your message and, for job applications, your resume.

When you visit the Site, we record your IP address, the page you arrived on, the website that referred you and the time of your visit. We and our advertising and analytics partners also use cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag) to measure how the Site is used, to measure the results of our ads, and for remarketing: showing our ads to people who have visited the Site when they later use Google, LinkedIn or other websites. These companies may use cookies to show you ads based on your past visits to the Site.
If you give us your email address, we may also use it to show you our ads on Google and LinkedIn. To do this, we provide your email address to Google or LinkedIn in a hashed (encoded) form, which they use only to match it to an account on their platform and show you our ads.

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. As there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. You can use the options above instead.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We share it only:
- With the cloud services we use to run the Site: Microsoft (Azure and Microsoft 365), which hosts the Site, our email and our files, and Mailchimp, which sends our email updates if you subscribe. They process your information only to provide these services to us.
- With Google and LinkedIn for the advertising described above
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of SharpQuest, our clients or others
The IP addresses we record are used only to protect the Site and to analyze visits, and are not shared with anyone.
How long we keep your information
We keep the information you give us for as long as needed for the purpose you gave it to us, such as responding to your inquiry or managing our relationship with you, and as required by law. IP address records are archived every year.
